Relations between Kuwaiti government and parliament

Kuwait's crown prince Sheikh Saad al-Abdullah al-Salim al-Sabah on Monday in Kuwait discussed with parliament members mean of improving relations between the government and the Nation's Council (the parliament), the Kuwaiti news agency KUNA said.
Kuwaiti Deputy Premier and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Nasser Abdullah al-Rawdan said during the "brotherly positive" meeting in which parliament Speaker Ahmad al-Sadoun took part, relations were reviewed between legislative and executive authorities and obstacles hindering cooperation between the two sides. He added that "in an open and frank atmosphere, means of eliminating obstacles impeding such a cooperation are possible."
The Emir of Kuwait interfered earlier this week to defuse the crisis that erupted between Kuwait's legislature and government.
