Kuwaiti Emir confers with UNSCOM chairman

Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Jabir al-Ahmad al-Sabah on Tuesday met with UNSCOM chairman Richard Butler. Talks dealt with the results of Butler's recent talks in Iraq.
Earlier in the day, Kuwaiti Crown Prince and Prime Minister Sheikh Saad al-Abdullah al-Sabah discussed with Butler the details of the recent accord Butler concluded with Iraqi officials.
