Jordan's Premier meets Moroccan King

King Hassan II of Morocco received Jordan's Prime Minister Abdul-Salam Majali who is visiting Morocco. Majali held talks on bilateral cooperation issues with his Moroccan counterpart before his meeting with the king of Morocco.
Majali handed Moroccan monarch a message from King Hussein of Jordan which dealt with the stalled Middle East peace process and the efforts carried out to put it back on track and the efforts done to convene an Arab summit to discuss the deadlock in peace making.
King Hussein, in his message to King Hassan II, reiterated Jordan's support of the Palestinian people and their struggle to regain their rights.
The message confirmed that Jordan will continue its endeavors to lift sanctions imposed on both Iraqi and Libyan people.
Majali briefed Moroccan King on outcome of the joint Moroccan-Jordanian committee on cooperation.
The minutes of the committee's meetings were signed by both prime ministers of the two countries. The document included two agreements on free trade between them and investment protection.
