Kuwait, Saudi Arabia hold oil talks

Saudi Minister of Oil and Mineral Resources Ali al-Nu'eimi, who arrived yesterday in Kuwait, held talks with his Kuwaiti counterpart, Sheikh Saud Nasser al-Sabah, on means of restoring stability to the world oil market and improving its prices. The talks are being held in preparation for the meeting of oil ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council, due to be held next week in Riyadh.
Al-Nu'eimi also said he has decided to expand the his Gulf tour within his efforts to gather support for a new reduction in petroleum production to maintain oil prices. Official sources said that al-Nu'eimi would also visit Iran before the end of the week within these endeavors.
