Israel contacts EC over boycotting

The US Newsweek magazine said on Monday that Israel is making intensive contacts with the European Commission in order to prevent it from making a decision to boycott Israeli commodities produced in Jewish settlements. Israeli radio quoted the magazine as saying that Tel Aviv approved operating the port and airport in Gaza to avoid sanctions by the European Union.
