Syrian PA speaker confers with Australian counterpart

Speaker of the Syrian People's Assembly PA Abdul Qader Qaddoura on Sunday discussed speaker of Australian Parliament Ian Sinclair currently visiting the country the situation on the international and Arab arenas, and parliamentary relations between the two countries. Sinclair, who visited the liberated city of Quneitra in the morning expressed his sorrow over the destruction of the city.
On the Middle East peace process Sinclair said:" We hold Netanyahu's government responsible for the deadlock of the peace process." Qaddoura, for his part, stressed Syria's "unswerving" and firm stand on the Middle East peace process as a strategic option based on international legitimacy resolutions, security council resolutions 242, 338 and 425 and the land for peace formula.
