AL, OAU cooperation relations stressed

The Secretary-general of the Arab League, Esmat Abdul Meguid, has underlined the importance of maintaining cooperation between the AL and the Organization of African Unity.
Addressing a meeting of the Board of Directors of the AL's Fund for Technical Assistance for Africa held in Cairo on Saturday, Abdul Meguid called for supporting the fund to enable it carry out assigned tasks in boosting Afro-Arab relations. The fund's member states are: Syria, Algeria, Tunisia, Sudan, Mauritania, Iraq and Palestine.
