First Iranian economic delegation in Cairo in 20 years

For the first time in 20 years, an Iranian economic and industrial delegation, including the head of the industries and mines union Sayed Khamoush, will arrive tomorrow in Cairo for an official visit.
The secretary of the Egyptian Industries Union, Ahmed Ez said today, "The visit comes as a reply to one paid by the Egyptian industry union delegation to Iran in last February".
He added, "The talks will focus on ratifying a deal worth $40 million as well as implementing many projects in the fields of ready-made cloths, Iron, steel, chemical industries, sugar sterilization, car spare parts, ship building, furniture, organizing the product exhibitions and Egyptian goods in Iran in the last quarter of the current year."
He stated that the visit will discuss the possibility of forming a joint business council, and contributing to national projects like Toshka (in Egypt), adding that the value of trade volume between the two countries reached $80 million in last year, including Egyptian imports of $35 million.
