National Council for Peace visits Kurdistan

The High Committee for Peace received the National Council for Peace in Kurdistan. The delegation, which came from Europe, included Mustafa Askari, Mohammed Sarkawt and Rizgar Amin. The meeting was attended by Fuad Baban and Safwat Rashid of the Peace and Accord Committee in Sulaymaniya.
In a three-hour meeting, they discussed the peace process between Kurdistan Democratic Party and the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan.
The High Committee of PUK, headed by Kamal Fuad renewed its support for peace in Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
The Peace Council provided a peace plan for both President of KDP, Massud Barzani and PUK Secretary General Jalal Talabani.
KDP announced that it agreed to the plan and invited the Council to visit Kurdistan for more discussion regarding promoting of the plan.
