Israeli soldier wounded in south Lebanon
Lebanon-Israel, Military, 6/5/1998

Two Israeli helicopters today at dawn raided the valley situated between Maleikh and al-Lweizeh in the al-Tuffah district of south Lebanon. Lebanese security sources said the two Israeli helicopters launched air-to-surface missiles against the targeted region.

The sources did not indicate that losses were inflicted as a result of the aggression.

Meanwhile, an Israeli military spokesman stated that one Israeli soldier was wounded on Wednesday in an attack launched by the Lebanese resistance in the occupied part of south Lebanon against an Israeli military patrol.

Israeli military sources said that a missile has struck an Israeli armored vehicle boarded by Israeli soldiers, led to the wounding of the soldier and the armored vehicle was disabled, Israeli radio reported.

On Thursday night, the Lebanese national resistance attacked enemy gatherings inside the Israeli position in occupied Hadatha town. In a statement, the resistance said it scored direct hits in the enemy position.
