Maintaining peace at the top of African foreign ministers' agendas

The meetings of the Organization of African Unity states' foreign ministers began yesterday in Ouagadougou, the capital of Burkina Faso.
Ambassador Moahmed Shaaban, the Egyptian foreign minister's assistant for African affairs, said that maintaining peace in Africa, and methods of settling disputes peacefully will be at the top of the discussions set up for the African summit conference.
He also said that Egypt has prepared a center for training on maintaining peace and settling disputes, to which a republic resolution will be issued soon.
