Mordechai: If redeployment not made, conditions in territories will explode

Israeli Defense Minister Yitzhak Mordechai said that any failure by the Israeli government in determining areas in the West Bank to be delivered to Palestine would lead to acts of violence. In a statement before the Israeli Knesset, Mordechai added, "The lack of decision-taking would lead to confrontation and violence, which we must expect."

Mordechai also met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to brief him on the results of his meeting with the Egyptian president.

Netanyahu, meanwhile, met with the leadership of the third-road party, who urged the Israeli Premier to carry out the redeployment. Netanyahu promised to do so in the near future and the decision of redeployment to be taken before the end of the current month.
