Yassin: Israel creates Palestinian government hostility toward Hamas
Palestine, Politics, 6/4/1998
The leader of Hamas, the Palestinian Islamic resistance movement, Sheikh Ahmed Yassin said on Tuesday that Pakistan's possession of the nuclear power is considered an addition to the Arab and the Islamic nation.
Sheikh Yassin criticized Israeli policy and urged the Arab states to save Jerusalem and al-Aqsa Mosque from "the Zionist practices."
He said, "The Arab nation needs to hold an urgent summit conference, not for rescuing the peace process, but to support for the Palestinian struggle in Palestine."
He criticized Israeli policy toward the peace process and stated that struggle is the only way to get the land back.
Sheikh Yassin also said that the Israeli attempt which aims at splitting the Palestinian line succeeded in increasing the Palestinian authority's hostility toward Hamas.
