Morocco wishes to consolidate ties with Mauritania

King Hassan II said in Rabat on Tuesday that Morocco wishes to enhance cooperation with Mauritania and wants new, fruitful and deep prospects for bilateral relationships.
Despite the distance separating Rabat and Nouakchott, the bridge between the two countries must be strong and beneficial, the king said while handing credentials to Morocco's new ambassador to Mauritania, Abderrahmane Benomar, MAP reported.
