Report: A conference on Syrian-Israeli peace process conditions

The Israeli daily Maarev said on Tuesday that representatives from Israel and Syria, with the participation of high-ranking US officials will take part today in a conference on conditions of the peace process between Syria and Israel.
Israeli radio quoted the paper as saying that the conference is organized by the Baker Institute in Houston, Texas, adding that it will be attended by former US Secretary of State James Baker, Syrian ambassador in Washington Walid al-Mu'allim, Israeli Premier's political advisor Uzi Arad, US undersecretary of state Martin Indyk, and former Israeli ambassador to the US Etamar Rabinovich.
Israeli radio report also said that director general of the Israeli Foreign Ministry Eitan Bin Tsour left for Palermo on Tuesday to take part in the European - Mediterranean states dialogue due to have started today as part of meetings of Barcelona declaration states.
