Egyptian - Tunisian trade cooperation under discussion

Egyptian Minister of Trade and Supply Ahmed Goweili discussed yesterday with the Tunisian ambassador in Cairo, Youssef El-Mokdem the establishment of joint projects in different economic fields to achieve economic integration, coordination and cooperation to enhance the leading role played by the private sector in the two countries.
Goweili also added that during the meeting they reviewed exports and imports between Egypt and Tunisia, adding the target for the volume of trade exchange between the two countries is $300 million annually by the year 2000.
