Tunisian, Libyan businessmen agree on joint industrial projects

A source in the Tunisian - Libyan trade chamber said representatives of 100 Tunisian industrial corporations, held intensive meetings with their Libyan counterparts to examine joint projects.
The source said that Libya ranks first among Tunisia's Arab trade partners, as it imports Tunisian goods worth $240 million and exports $260 million worth of goods.
The source also said that the joint projects that were undertaken in Tunisia through 1994 did not exceed 10, at an estimated value of $25 million, and thereafter in 1995 six joint industrial projects, eight agricultural projects and three service projects were established in the last three years.
