Israeli defense minister in Cairo today

Israeli Minister of Defense Yitzhak Mordechai is arriving today in Cairo to discuss with the Egyptian officials the latest Israeli situations.
Egyptian sources said today that the visit aims at controlling the gap growing between the two countries, due to the Israeli obstinacy towards the peace process and the Israeli threats of stopping any cooperation with the peace track.
The source said that Mordechai will inform his Egyptian counterpart, General Hussein Tantawi, on his suggestion for conditional withdrawal from south Lebanon with guarantees of the Israeli border's security.
