Iran for expanding cooperation with Iraq

Iranian First Vice-President Hassan Habibi has asserted that cooperation between Iran and Iraq, especially in closing the file of exchanging war prisoners and completing other agreements would help in creating mutual confidence so as to expand cooperation between the two countries.
This was expressed today during a meeting held between Habibi and the Iraqi charge d'affairs in Tehran who delivered a message to Habibi from Iraqi Vice-President Taha Yassin Ramadan.
The Iraqi charge d'affairs in Tehran, Salah al-Samraq expressed Iraq's wish to develop and strengthen relations with Iran and to exchange visits between the two peoples as well as to ensure security and peace for Iranian visitors who arrive at the holy shrines in Iraq.
