Berlin mayor visits Cairo today

Berlin Mayor Eberhard Diepgen is arriving today in Egypt at the invitation of Mamdouh El-Betlagi, the Egyptian minister of tourism, to hold talks with Egyptian Prime Minister Kamal El-Ganzouri that aim at enhancing relations and increasing the volume of commercial exchange between the German city Berlin and Egypt.
Informed sources said that Diepgen would like to visit Luxor to confirm that it is a safe city and encourage the German tourism to Egypt.
