Jordan approves international peace conference
Jordan, Politics, 6/1/1998
A Jordanian government source told al-Quds daily, issued in the occupied Arab territories, that Jordan informed Egyptian Foreign minister Amr Moussa who visited Amman on Tuesday of its consent toward convening a peace conference.
Israeli radio quoted the source as telling the paper that Jordan has agreed to convene a new peace conference under the conditions that international efforts are to concentrate on highlighting agreements already approved to pressure Israel to implement agreements signed with the Palestinians and revive peace negotiations on all tracks.
