Arab ministers to discuss sanctions against Iraq and Libya

The secretary-general of the Arab Economic Unity Council, Hassan Ibrahim, confirmed that the council's meeting tomorrow that will be attended by Arab ministries of trade and finance will discuss the economic sanctions on Iraq and Libya and their negative effects on the Libyan and Iraqi people.
Ibrahim told ArabicNews.com today that the council meeting will also deal with a report on encouraging Arab investment and activating Arab commercial exchange.
He added that the Arab ministers of trade and commerce will sign a new agreement for investing Arab funds to cope with international economic change, international coalitions, the requirements of the Arab joint market, specifying investment fields and the importance of the countries' pledges to encourage investment.
