Libya, Chad for boosting bilateral relations

President of Libya Col. Muammar Gaddafi on Friday in Tripoli received Chad's ministerial delegation led by Foreign Minister Muhammad Saleh al-Nazif, currently visiting Libya.

Talks dealt with means of implementing cooperation and integration programs between the two countries in the fields of electricity, industrial and agricultural investment, education and communications.

Meanwhile, Secretary of the Libyan Foreign Relations Committee, Omar al-Muntasir, today signed in Sert with Chad's Foreign Minister Muhammad Saleh al-Nazif the second minutes of meeting following up on and supervising the cooperation committee between the two countries.

The minutes call for bilateral cooperation in energy-related fields, including oil, electricity, communications, transportation, civil aviation, investment, education, industry and well-drilling. Anther three agreements on cooperation in the fields of energy and electricity were also signed by the two countries' energy ministers.
