Saudi Arabia signs service contract for Internet consultation

Dr. Saleh El-Adl, head of King Abdul Aziz City for Science and Technology, signed with Dr. Brenda Yeznelanz, general manager of the German Agency for Technology a contract for consultative services for establishing an Internet in Saudi Arabia.
The contract provides for help from German consultative experts with the King Abdul Aziz City for Science and Technology's efforts to establish an Internet in Saudi Arabia.
In a statement issued by the German embassy in Saudi Arabia said that since Saudi Arabia started gradually to institute Internet services in December 1997, hundreds of private companies and corporations have vied toget contracts to supply Saudi Arabia with Internet services.
