Sudanese - Egyptian discussion about Nile water begins

Mahmoud Abu Zied, Egypt's minister of public works and water resources announced yesterday that the Egyptian - Sudanese technical committee will hold its meetings in Cairo today, during which it will discuss bilateral cooperation between the two countries and coordination regarding meetings of Nile basin countries that will be held during September.
Abu Zied confirmed that there are no problems between the two countries about giving Egyptian irrigation facilities in Sudan back, referring to Egypt's readiness to pay the compensation demanded by Sudan in return for giving the constructs back.
