Abdul Meguid confirms Arab, Muslim refusal of Gingrich Jerusalem statements

Esmat Abdul Meguid, the Arab League's secretary-general, announced on Thursday that Arabs and Moslems refuse the extreme and subjective declarations made by U.S. House of Representatives Speaker Newt Gingrich, in which he announced that Jerusalem is the "united and eternal" capital of Israel.
Then Abdul Meguid stated that these declarations hurt Moslems and Christians in the region and worldwide by encouraging Israel to destroy the peace process.
