A new radio-TV station in Amman started

King Hussein of Jordan inaugurated a new broadcasting tower and a tation to strengthen Jordan's second and third TV channels. The inauguration coincided with Independence Day in Jordan.
Following the opening of the station, King Hussein praised the Jordanian TV and radio broadcasts, saying that they defended truth and spread an optimistic spirit to help achieve goals.
