Four guards killed by armed attackers

The Algerian dailies al-Khabar and Liberte on Thursday said that armed groups killed four members of the municipal guard in al-Shalf province.

Algerian dailies issued on Thursday said that security forces killed Sawkeh al-Saeed, a wanted member of the Armed Islamic Group, in Tabbakha district of Skikda province.

Meanwhile, Algerian security forces defused a bomb planted inside an elementary school in al-Safsafa district in Annaba province.

Liberte daily said on Thursday that a bomb exploded on Wednesday in al-Eibar suburb in Algiers, and the explosion wounded three citizens and caused heavy material losses.

Al-Khabar daily said that the security forces found three corps in the woods between Wahran and Arizo for one woman and two young men. Also found were shelters and centers for explosives processing belonging to the armed groups.
