Characteristics of Arab renaissance projects discussed at Beirut conference

Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri is opening today the third conference held by the Arabic Center for Strategic Studies, with the supervision of former Yemeni President Ali Naser in cooperation with the United Nations and the general trusteeship of the Arab League to arrive at a joint perception concerning characteristics of Arab renaissance projects in the coming century.
The two-day conference in Beirut will feature the participation of intellectuals and experts from all over the Arab states and will hold general sessions to discuss elements of renaissance.
Then the participants will split up for workshops that specify the political, economic, social and cultural development plans for the Arab renaissance project.
