UN call to discuss the drugs

Mahdi Mohammed Ali, the regional manager of the United Nations' program for combating drugs, called yesterday on all countries to offer effective participation at the meeting of the private session for the U.N in New York on next Monday, which will tackle the problem of drugs.
The UN official said that so far, more than 17 presidents and 11 prime ministers said that they will participate in the works of the session.
He also said that many countries will send high-level delegations for the effective participation in the meeting which coincides with the tenth anniversary of the signing of the United Nations agreement for combating dealing of illegal drugs.
