Agricultural projects between Egypt and the U.S. valued at $1 billion

Youssef Wali, the Egyptian deputy prime minister and minister of agriculture, confirmed that the volume of agricultural cooperation between Egypt and the U.S. reached $1 billion invested in large agricultural projects.

While receiving a U.S. congressional delegation yesterday, the minister referred to the continuation of agricultural relations between Egypt and the U.S. and to methods of developing these relations in fields of genetic engineering and modern agricultural technology.

Agreements were signed between the two countries in this field.
