Syria, Iran sign two geology agreements

Two understanding notes for cooperation between Syria and Iran were signed on Monday at the Iranian Ministry of Minerals and Resources in Tehran.
The first note includes cooperation between geology establishments in both countries in the fields of geological survey and exploration of mineral resources. It was signed by the director-general of the general establishment for geology in Syria, Talal Ballan, and his Iranian counterpart.
The second note includes cooperation in the field of exploration for iron crude, particularly in the northern part of Syria. It was signed by Syrian deputy oil minister Dr. Issa Ibrahim and the Iranian counterpart.
