Israel continues aggression against south Lebanon

Lebanese security sources reported that Israeli bombing on Monday evening of Mashghara town in eastern Lebanon resulted in the hospitalization of 4 citizens, Rima Abdullah (16), Muhammad Salim al-Amar (13), Fatimah Ali Sader (60) and Hedaya Ali Rida (16).
The sources added that the Israeli bombardment also covered the towns of Kafra, Yater, Hadatha, Haris, Serbin and al-Tuffah district. The shelling was accompanied by heavy machine-gun fire and mock raids carried out by Israeli warplanes. Security reports said that two warplanes at 9:10 a.m. Monday raided Aqmata farm and fired two missiles against the area. The enemy planes were intercepted by the Lebanese army's anti-aircraft guns.
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation forces violated the items of April Understanding agreement providing for not launching any attacks targeting civilians and populated areas. Lebanese security sources said the Israeli bombardment carried out on Monday evening targeted Mashghara town in the western Bekaa and resulted in wounding two Lebanese citizens. The Israeli shelling also targeted Maidon and Ein al-Tina towns.
The artillery positions affiliated with the Lebanese resistance heavily bombarded the neraby occupation positions. Further reports said the Israeli occupation forces on Monday shelled with heavy artillery the outskirts of Kafra and Yater towns, al-Butoum mountains and al-Asi road.
News reports from south Lebanon said the Israeli artillery bombardment resulted in heavy losses in properties and plantations in the targeted areas. Earlier in the day, the Israeli warplanes raided Aqmata and Mleita in al-Tuffah district. On Sunday night Israeli warplanes raided Aqmata twice.
