Nasrallah threatens agreements with Israel
Lebanon, Politics, 5/25/1998
Hassan Nasrallah, the secretary general of Hizbullah in Lebanon, criticized the policy of the Lebanese government in its management of the struggle with Israel, then accused the government of not trying to win the release of detainees in the Israeli prisons and not supporting the Lebanese resistance against Israel.
Nasrallah said that the government left it to Syria to voice to the whole world the Lebanese refusal of Israeli security conditions for implementing UN Security Council resolution 425, instaead of having Lebanese officials declare so.
Then Nasrallah stated that the previous agreement of peace between Lebanon and Israel failed and we will not let succeed any similar agreements except full-unconditional Israeli withdrawal from Lebanon.
