Lebanese resistance escalate attacks on Israeli positions

A group of Lebanese resistance fighters on Sunday attacked a concentration of Israeli occupation troops in al-Ahmadeya area in the Western Bekaa, using rockets and machine-guns. The Lebanese resistance-men observed the movements of troops in the Zamraya position, which was directly hit, a resistance statements said.
Meanwhile, Israeli war planes raided the area between Sujoud and Lweizeh in al-Tuffah district. Earlier in the day, the Israeli occupation troops bombarded villages adjacent to the occupied zone of south Lebanon.
On Saturday, two pro-Israeli militiamen were killed in south Lebanon by a roadside bomb planted by Lebanese resistance men. A resistance source said the blast took place when the two South Lebanon Army militiamen were on a patrol heading toward Sojoud on the edge of the Israeli-occupied zone in south Lebanon.
Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces continued their attacks on areas adjacent to occupied south Lebanon and the western Bekaa. Security sources said the Israeli artillery pounded Kafra and Yater towns, al-Botoum mount, Haris, Hadath and Miremin valley areas. The shelling was accompanied by machine-gun fire against the areas as well as provocative mock raids against Nabatieh and al-Tuffah districts by warplanes flying at low altitudes.
The Israeli artillery in their Harfa position shelled the populated districts in Zoun and al-Mansouri towns and al-Khazen area in the south. The electric grid and a number of houses were damaged. The bombardment also resulted in serious damages to plantations and natural properties.
In retaliation, the Lebanese resistance men machine-gunned and rocketed the Israeli forces' position in Teir Harfa, scoring direct hits.
