Campaigns to capture terrorists in Upper Egypt

Egyptian police began security campaigns yesterday, pursuing terrorist groups in the governorate of Upper Egypt.
A security source told ArabicNews.com that these campaigns aimed at arresting three members of the Islamic Group whose attack on police cars lead to the injury of a policeman and two soldiers.
The source added that executives in the governorate promised to remove new areas cane farms near the main roads on which the police patrols travel during their pursuit of the suspects.
Meanwhile, representatives in charge of defending those accused in religious violence related crimes presented requests to Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak yesterday in which they demanded the cancellation of the judgments issued against 33 members of the Islamic Group.
