Arafat calls for convening urgent Arab summit

Palestinian President Yasser Arafat decided to officially call for convening an urgent Arab summit during the meeting of the Arab foreign ministers in Cairo during the coming week. Tayeb Abd Rehim, Arafat's advisor, confirmed that the aim of the expected summit is to discuss the status of the peace process.
