Singapore to increase volume of investment in Alexandria

F.K. Ragan, the ambassador of Singapore in Cairo, announced at the private symposium held yesterday by the Center for the Development of Alexandria, aimed at encouraging and enhancing trade and economic cooperation between Singapore and Alexandria, that Singapore expects to increase its investments in Egypt generally during the coming months and in Alexandria especially.
He said many investors and businessmen expressed their desire to establish private projects sharing in developing and modernizing Alexandria's harbors to returning it to its former position as one of the leading Mediterranean harbors.
The ambassador of Singapore confirmed that the Alexandria Development Center can play an important role in activating trade and economic relations between the two countries.
