Gaddafi meets Arab women's delegation

Libyan Leader Muammar Gaddafi on Thursday received women taking part in the first meeting of the general secretariat of the unionist league of the Afro-Arab woman currently held in Tripoli with the participation of women's delegations from Syria, Egypt, Morocco, Algeria, Mauritania, Mali, Niger, Jordan, Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq and Libya.
The participating women underlined the importance of enhancing Arab-African cooperation against common challenges threatening the Arab nation and the African continent.
They also expressed their wish to maintain a key role in defending Arab and African causes in international arenas.
