Mubarak asks French companies to invest in Egypt

During the last day of his visit to France, Egyptian President Muhammad Hosni Mubarak concentrated on strengthening relations between Egypt and France in economic, scientific and cultural fields to reach the level of "excellent" bilateral political relations.
In a speech he delivered before the national assembly of French businessmen, the Egyptian President said, "France is the most credible country to be our partner," adding that French companies are greatly trusted by the Egyptians.
President Mubarak added, "We await you in Egypt, for direct French investments in Egypt, especially in small, intermediate projects in new industrial areas."
