UAE Federal Council: Israeli intransigence voids peace process

The National Federal Council in the United Arab Emirates stated that achieving just and comprehensive peace based on international legitimacy resolutions, UN Security Council resolutions and the land for peace principle is the only way to establish security and stability in the Middle East region.
In a statement marking the 50th anniversary of the usurpation of Palestine, the UAE council said Israel's evasive policy and violation of signed agreements has led to voiding the peace process. The statement added that Arab people in Palestine have been vulnerable throughout the past 50 years to oppressive acts, displacement, confiscation of their lands, arrest campaigns, and building of more Israeli settlements in order to change the demographic structure in Palestine.
