Libyan President to visit Egypt

Egyptian Minister of Information Safwat al-Sharif has said that Libyan President Muammar Gaddafi will visit Egypt during the first week of June to sign cooperation agreements in various economic, trade, cultural, political and technical fields.
In statements quoted by the Egyptian news agency MENA, al-Sharif added that Gaddafi will preside, alongside Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, over meetings of the Egyptian-Libyan joint higher committee.
