Sudanese constitutional referendum voting ends

The referendum on the new Sudanese constitution has ended and the results will be announced in the coming month.
The referendum on the Sudanese constitution ended on May 20 and the operation of counting the votes will begin on May 21 so that the conclusion can be announced during the coming month.
The election centers were very busy today before closing the voting boxes after the referendum began with weak particiaption last week.
Hashem Kroum, the head of the referendum committee in the capital, announced that the first day viewed a participation of 33,000 citizens while that number increased to 216,000 yesterday.
He stated that the percentage of participation in voting reached nearly 90% of registered citizens, who number more one million.
