Saudi FM to visit Iran this month

Iranian ambassador to Saudi Arabia Muhammad Rida Nouri expected on Thursday that the Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud al-Faisal will visit Iran at the invitation of his Iranian counterpart Kamal Kharazi during the last week of this month.
The ambassador did not give a definite date for the visit, but Saudi papers said it will take place on May 26 and Nouri added that the Saudi minister will meet with Iranian President Muhammad Khatami and senior Iranian officials, adding that the two countries are expected to sign economic, scientific, and cultural cooperation agreements.
Al-Nahar added that the exchange of visits is the latest sign of improved relations between the two regional powers.
