Zimbabwe expresses solidarity with Libya in confronting sanctions
Libya-Zimbabwe, Politics, 5/14/1998
The president of Zimbabwe, Robert Mugabi, confirmed on his arrival in Tripoli on Wednesday his country's support for and solidarity with Libya in confronting the sanctions imposed by the U.N. Security Council, confirming that these sanctions are absolutely unjustified.
Mugabi said that his visit will present a good chance to exchange ideas with Colonel Muammar Gaddafi, the Libyan revolution's leader, about African issues and subjects of bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
He praised the stance of Libya in supporting his country in its struggle to topple the colonization that is domineering it.
