Libya, Zimbabwe for boosting bilateral relations

President of the Republic of Zimbabwe Robert Mugabi said he will discuss with Libyan President Muammar Gaddafi several issues pertaining to bilateral and African relations.
This was expressed in a statement by President Mugabi upon arriving in Tripoli on Tuesday for a several-day visit to Libya, accompanied by a ministerial delegation.
Mugabi added that this visit presents an opportunity to exchange viewpoints on African issues, bilateral relations and topics of mutual interest. The Zimbabwe President reiterated his country's solidarity with Libya in confronting sanctions imposed against the Libyan people and called for lifting them.
