Arab joint projects for petroleum in Egypt

Hamdi El-Banbi, the Egyptian minister of petroleum, confirmed on Monday before leaving Damascus to return to Cairo, that the sixth Arab Energy Conference in Syria, resulted in the intention to carry out joint projects in Egypt for using natural gas and its derivatives.
The Egyptian minister said that a company for gas was formed by a contribution from Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates at 9% and 10% from Egypt. The company in Egypt will work on attracting investment. Joint projects were also crystallized with Bahrain, which will be announced later.
Also, Mohamed Saleh El-Horani, the Jordanian minister of energy and mineral wealth said that they will activate the electric links line between Egypt and Jordan within the Arab electricity link net.
