Iraq criticizes erection of Turkish dams on the Tigris and the Euphrates

Iraq criticized Turkey for erecting dams on the Tigris and Euphrates rivers, a matter which threatens the flow of waters to countries sharing the two rivers with Turkey.
In a statement released on Monday, a spokesman for the Iraqi Foreign Ministry said that Turkey violates international law through building several dams on the two rivers, taking no consideration of other countries' rights.
