Lifting the ban imposed upon the Egyptian exports Algeria

Ahmed Goweili, the Egyptian minister of trade and supply, announced during the meeting of the group 15's union on Thursday an agreement for lifting the ban imposed upon Egyptian exports to Algeria beginning from June 6, confirming that he will head a delegation of Egyptian businessmen on a visit to Algeria on June 6, aiming at resuming trade and economic relations.

The Algerian ambassador in Cairo, Mustafa El-Sherif El-Said, said there will be a meeting between Egypti's President Mubarak and Algeria's President Liamine Zeroual during the meetings of the group of 15 developing nations summit in Cairo on Monday.

The two preisdents are to discuss the developments in Algerian - Egyptian positions in the economic fields, El-Said said, adding that the specialized delegations from the two countries, will discuss measures to increase the trade volume between the two countries from $100 million to $1 billion annually.
