Violence continues in Algeria

Algerian security forces on Wednesday killed 29 armed men in the Blida province within the context of operations against the armed groups, as activity on both sides of the ongoing voilence in Algeria continued.
The Algerian daily al-Khabar said a bomb exploded in al-Medea province implanted near the house of a civil defense society member, wounding the man.
Al-Aseel daily reported that armed groups slaughtered two citizens in Khamis al-Malyana city and kidnapped another two.
The "straightness" battalion of Algerian rebels, affiliated with the Armed Islamic Group, said on Wednesday that it agreed to the truce called by some Islamic factions and will halt terrorist operations. Members of the battalion raised the white flag on top of El-Babour mountain.
